Flying angels

Flying Cherubs – Baroque Angel Art for Your Home by Franco

We all know them – the little naked cherubs that float above altars, ledges, or pillars in almost every Baroque or Rococo church across the Alps. They gaze at visitors or seem to play heavenly instruments. Thanks to Franco, you can now bring four of these celestial figures into your home, adding a touch of inspiration and joy to any space.

The flying cherub angels, covered only by a delicate cloth, are available in two sizes: 11 cm and 18 cm. Just like their baroque counterparts, they hold traditional instruments:

  • Mandolin
  • Flute
  • Violin
  • Trumpet

One particularly expressive model is the cherub with open arms (model 1290). Without an instrument, it symbolizes meditation and inner peace. This figure is an official replica of the cherub angel created by Michael Feichtmayr (1709–1772) for the Benedictine Abbey Church of Ottobeuren.
