Romanesque and stylized crucifixes with handcrafted crosses

The Romanesque and stylized corpus from the company Franco can, of course, also be purchased with a cross. The crosses are precisely matched to the style of each corpus and are therefore available in fixed combinations. Special attention is given to faithful reproduction according to the characteristics of the respective historical period, especially for the two Romanesque crucifixes.

The indicated dimensions should be read as follows: The first measurement indicates the size of the corpus from head to foot, while the second measurement after the † symbol denotes the length of the cross.

The Romanesque cross 4545.K for the corpus 4545 is, as was customary in the Romanesque era, designed very wide and almost envelops the entire corpus. For a total length of 25 cm, the cross is made of ash wood, while for 65 cm it is made of linden wood.
The corpus 4550, also known as the “Great God of Altenstadt,” is available in sizes 30 cm and 40 cm (measured from head to foot) and is carried by a simple ash wood cross measuring 52 cm and 70 cm, respectively.
The stylized corpus 4600 is supplied with a simple, matching ash wood cross, the size of which is adapted to the height of the corpus.

All crosses are available unfinished as well as waxed or brown-stained. For the antiqued Romanesque corpus 4545, a matching antiqued cross is also available.
