Angel heads are a classic gift for births and baptisms, symbolizing protection and guidance for the new child on their life journey. Religious denomination plays only a minor role here – angels appear in nearly all monotheistic religions and are widely revered as invisible companions through life. Especially for children, it is comforting to give these heavenly protectors a visible form – for example, by hanging an angel head above their crib.
The angel heads by Franco are available in various sizes. Most models can be ordered looking left, right, or as a matching pair. The stylized wings that carry the finely crafted heads are traditionally adorned with gold leaf in the colorized version.
