The small but equally valuable alternatives to Madonna statues are the so-called Madonna reliefs. They can be mounted directly on the wall, making them ideal for smaller spaces, hallways, or entryways. With their finely carved details and three-dimensional design, these sacred images feel alive and convey the tender motherly love of Mary.
The Madonna reliefs by Franco range in height from 10 cm to 32 cm and are typically unframed. However, one framed model is available, which enhances the pictorial quality of the artwork.
The styles of the reliefs range from baroque to modern. Even when decorated with roses or angel heads, Mary with the Child Jesus always remains the central focus.
