Candle Angels Inspired by Üblherr – Baroque Masterpieces from Franco

Maria Steinbach in the Allgäu is a well-known and cherished Marian pilgrimage site. In addition to its devotion to the Virgin Mary, the baroque church is famous for its candle angels by Johann Georg Üblherr (1700–1763). The artist created them in 1762, around ten years after the church's construction. Today, Franco proudly distributes the reproductions of these angels worldwide.

The Üblherr candle angels are available individually or as a pair. You can choose from two designs:

  • Classic candle holder – true to the original baroque version
  • Lamp base with a small lampshade and elegant pedestal

Both the candle holders and lamp versions come in various traditional finishes. The candle holders are also available in two special editions:

  • Antiqued version – modeled after the original from 1762
  • Fully gilded version – for a particularly refined look

Each candle angel by Franco brings a piece of baroque artistry into your home and combines sacred aesthetics with elegant interior decoration.
