Christ’s Bodies

Franco offers five different corpus models, each reflecting a distinct artistic style. The listed sizes always refer to the height from head to toe.

• Corpus 4400: Classic depiction of the suffering Christ, available in sizes from 10 to 85 cm. The 85 cm size is carved from lindenwood, the smaller sizes from maple wood. Finishes: natural, waxed, stained, painted or antiqued.
• Corpus 4500: Also a traditional variant, available in 12 to 40 cm, with the same finish options as model 4400.
• Corpus 4545 and 4550: Romanesque style, with simple, straight lines and minimal detailing. Corpus 4550 is a faithful reproduction of the famous “Great God of Altenstadt” (13th century). Available in traditional and antiqued finishes.
• Corpus 4600: Modern and stylized interpretation with a more subtle expression of suffering. Available in antiqued or fully gilded versions.
