Crucifixes with 4400 Christ’s body

Traditionally the body of Christ is fixed to the cross, to be faithful to the biblical representation. For this Franco proposes all the bodies of Christ in the form of a complete crucifix. The body of Christ 4400 can be chosen between four different types of cross.
The measurements indicated should be read like this: The first measurement indicates the dimensions of the Corpus from head to toe , the second after the † symbol indicates the length of the cross.

Tradizionalmente il corpo di Cristo viene fissato alla croce, per essere fedele alla rappresentazione biblica. Per questo la Franco propone tutti i corpi di Cristo sotto forma di crocifisso completo. Il corpo di Cristo 4400 si può scegliere fra quattro diversi tipi di croce.

Le misure indicate vanno lette in questo modo: La prima misura indica le dimensioni del Corpus dalla testa ai piedi, la seconda dopo il simbolo † indica la lunghezza della croce.

The first indicated size is referring to the size of Christ’s body from head to toe;
the second size, labeled with †, is the size of the cross.

The first difference is the type of wood: the crucifix K is made of ash wood, the crucifixes KG, KK and KR are made of lime wood. Secondly, they have different shapes and are worked differently. You can choose between straight and smooth cross, straight and carved cross, curved carved cross and smooth and trifoliate cross. The carved workmanship implies that traces of carvings are visible on the crucifix beam. All crosses are available natural without surface treatment and in a light brown patina tone.

La prima differenza consiste nel tipo di legno: Il crocifisso K è in legno di frassino, i crocifissi KG, KK e KR sono in legno di tiglio. In secondo luogo, hanno forme diverse e sono lavorati in modo differente. Si può scegliere fra croce diritta e liscia, croce diritta e scolpita, croce curva scolpita e croce liscia e trifogliata. La lavorazione scolpita implica che sulla trave del crocifisso sono visibili tracce di intagli.
