Angel with Outstretched Arms – Baroque Putto for Hanging

This serene angel with outstretched arms originates from the famous Benedictine Abbey of Ottobeuren and is a replica of the original by Johann Michael Feichtmayr (1709–1772), located to the left of the statue of John the Baptist at the crossing altar. Carved from limewood, this putto conveys an image of silent meditation and meets the viewer’s gaze with an expression of inner peace and contemplation.
