Ballerina Chess set and Animals’ figures

The "Three monkeys" ...they neither see, nor hear nor say something evil

In the profane collection of Franco Comploj woodcarvings you can find a Degas-style ballerina, particularly adorable with a light blue or pink painted dress. The ballerina is fixed on a turning base with a carillon, where you can choose from three different tunes: "Boléro", an orchestra composition of the French composer Maurice Ravel, "An der schönen blauen Donau", a waltz by Johann Strauss and "Schwanensee", one of the most well-known ballet compositions by Pjotr Iljitsch Tschaikowski. Furthermore, in our collection you can find a special chess set, which is inspired by the alpine traditions, as you can notice for instance from the traditional hat worn by the farmer’s figure. Our selection of animal figures includes roe deer, chamois, dogs like the dachshund, cats in various representations and the symbolic figure of the "Three monkeys" (see picture above).
