Saints and Reliefs

Saint statues by Franco are available in sizes ranging from 10 cm to 60 cm. The smaller figures are carved from maple, while the larger ones are made from linden wood.

The artistic style ranges from baroque to modern, and the finishes include natural, waxed, antiqued, and gold-leafed versions.

Alongside classic saints like St.Anthony and St.Joseph, Franco also offers more unique patron saints:

• St. Cosmas
• St. Damian

– the protectors of doctors, midwives, pharmacists, and scientists, rarely found in such artistic quality.

A particularly meaningful work is the Holy Spirit depicted as a dove surrounded by a radiant halo. The halo is carved from linden wood (available in 28 cm or 44 cm diameter), while the dove is made of maple wood. This sacred symbol is most impressive in the antiqued version.

The two reliefs offered by Franco are tributes to masterpieces of Western art:

• Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper”
• Albrecht Dürer’s “Praying Hands”
